Rick West recently changed seats within the ML Taylor Construction team. Now Rick is in the realm of sales and project management. He is actively involved in the daily operations, providing clients with a “Custom Taylor’d” experience.
“My day typically starts with meeting the guys on the job to do a daily walk-through. Then I run by the multiple jobs currently going and then by the shop to check messages,” he noted. “While at the shop I order materials for future jobs and send out estimates.”
Rick was drawn to ML Taylor by the stability of the company. He likes working on the many different styles of projects they do as a company. He has been in the construction industry for as long as he can remember and brings more than 25 years of experience to the team.
“I started framing my first project when I was 13 and was co-opt out of school to go to work,” Rick shared. “I have worked on many projects ranging from interior trim all the way to big commercial-scale projects.”
Rick resides in Cambridge City with his wife of 25 years, and they have adult children. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family participating in outdoor activities and off-roading.
